Rest API Model for Integration with Agnostic Biometric Systems

Abstract

Several entities are committed to the use of biometrics in the area of security, both in access control, as well as for the identification of investigated and crime prevention. The objective of this work is the creation of a prototype of a tool developed within the approach of Services Web, associated to the development of an API that will aim at the standardization of the services of biometrics, with a view to the exchange of data between biometric applications distinct and independent, with a low level of coupling and with interoperability between systems of different platforms and technologies to perform the task of personal identification.
