RODES 2.0: Educational Softwre for Linear Programming Learning


This paper presents an educational free and multiplatform software, designed for collaborating in teaching Operation Research course, commonly tougth in undergraduate programs in Brazilian universities. RHODES 2.0 aid teaching Simplex Method, providing functionality to problem algebric formulation, graphic presentation in 2D/3D and Simplex tableaus, setting up database options with example problems, among others. Evaluations performed by the authors shows its usefulness as an helpful tool for improving the teaching-learning process inside or outside of classroom.
